Doors, doors, and hardwood floors

The sliding French doors for the office have been installed. Now we can be seen and not heard.

A long time ago, Henry Gerbrandt installed these closet doors between the front entrance and the rest of the kitchen/living room, etc. The following photo shows what you will see when you come to our house, and our house is either tidy or we don't care what you think of us.

The following photo is what you may see if you are a photo client and being ushered to the studio downstairs, or we care what you think and the house is a mess.

And the following two photos show the very recently installed hardwood floors in the dining room. We turned the HRV on and got the humidity to a more acceptable level, and went ahead with installing the hardwoods. And it was fun. I got to whack the air-compressor-dependent nailer.
