What goes here?

Controversy it seems.

Originally that space (where it looks like we ran out of money in the kitchen and couldn't afford the last upper cabinet...that wouldn't have been a bad guess by the way) was going to be a window to the dining room. So, no cupboard was ordered. The drywallers didn't cut the hole for it, and we decided not to ask them to as we started to wonder if we really wanted it. The microwave is in the island. I have suggested that we buy a frame and feature Claire's art there on a rotating basis. Our stainless steel fridge accepts finger prints but not magnets and we definitely need a place for Claire's art, so that seems to be the plan.
